The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the usual face-off, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually happening.
